On Sunday, March 2, 2025, Parnassus Arts Productions’ exclusive artist, Dennis Orellana (male soprano), won the first edition of the Farinelli Competition for countertenors, newly founded by opera director Christoph von Bernuth.
As part of the 47th International Handel Festival in Karlsruhe, the world’s first singing competition for countertenors was held at the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe: For the 1st Farinelli Competition for countertenors, in honor of the most famous singer of this category, nearly 50 singers applied, of whom 23 presented themselves before a prestigious five-member jury in the first internal preliminary round. On Friday, February 21, 2025, the annual Oper! Awards took place in Brussels, where Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist, Maayan Licht (sopranist), was named Best Young Singer of 2025. The jury chairman, Manuel Brug, stated in his speech at the Theatre La Monnaie that the award was granted due to Maayan’s sensational performance at the Bayreuth Baroque Opera Festival as Achilles in the new production of Iphigenia in Aulis (directed by Max Emanuel Cencic; musical direction by Christophe Rousset). Since February 22, 2025, Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist, Benjamin Bayl, has been conducting the revival of La Fest at the Staatstheater Stuttgart. Directed and choreographed by Eric Gauthier, there will be two series of performances: from March 1 to 25, 2025, and from June 6 to 21, 2025. Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist Yuriy Mynenko will also be part of the production.
Our outstanding contralto and Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist, Sonja Runje, will perform the role of Farnace in Mozart’s opera Mitridate re di Ponto at the Opéra de Lausanne starting February 23, 2025. In total, four performances are scheduled on February 23, 25, 28, and March 2, 2025, in a production directed by Emmanuelle Bastet and conducted by Andreas Spering.
Since February 7, 2025, Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist Daniel Behle has been performing the title role of Idomeneo at the Dutch National Opera in Amsterdam. In the production by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui and under the musical direction of Laurence Cummings, Daniel Behle will sing the role of Idomeneo in a total of seven performances in Amsterdam until February 23, 2025.

Since the premiere on January 31, 2025, Parnassus Arts Productions artist Monika Jägerova (contralto) has been performing as Bradamante in the new production of Alcina at the Gärtnerplatztheater Munich.
