From 17-19 May 2024, star tenor and Parnassus Arts Productions exclusive artist Daniel Behle can be seen twice in Salzburg as part of the Salzburg Whitsun Festival in the title role of Mozart's LA CLEMENZA DI TITO alongside Cecilia Bartoli (Sextus). The new production, staged by Robert Carsen, is musically directed by Gianluca Capuano. In addition to Daniel Behle and Cecilia Bartoli, the cast also includes Alexandra Marcellier (VItellia), Melissa Petit (Servilia), Anna Tetruashvili (Annio), Ildebrando D'Arcangelo (Publio), Il Canto di Orfeo and Les Musiciens du Prince-Monaco. Between the two performances, Daniel will also sing at the festival's DA PONTE GALA on 18 May at the Festspielhaus.
Further information on this top-class cast and production, which will be revived at the Salzburg Festival in summer 2024 with Daniel Behle in the title role from 1-13 August, can be found at this link.
Between the Salzburg Whitsun and Summer Festivals, Daniel Behle will continue with Mozart, as Daniel will appear in his signature role of Ferrando (Cosi Fan Tutte) at the Royal Covent Garden Opera House in London from 26 June to 10 July 2024. In the production by Jan Philipp Gloger, Daniel will of course sing the aria "Un'aura amorosa" again under the direction of Alexander Soddy, which was already recorded in 2016 and can be heard in this video.
